Looking for a Geekvape box mod in October 2026 means browsing a catalogue that has not been tidied up. Alongside its recent models, the manufacturer still lists mods released several generations earlier, sometimes under a name that hides their place in the line.

The upshot is that two retailer listings can describe an "Aegis Solo" with neither the same battery nor the same screen. This update puts each mod back in its family tree.

Geekvape box mod line-up, what the catalogue lists in October 2026

Geekvape's Box Mod page shows ten models. Nine belong to the Aegis range, split into three lines, and only one, the T200, is filed separately. Within each line, several generations sit side by side.

Line Generations still listed Power source
Legend L200 (Legend 2), L200 Classic, Legend 3, Legend 5 two 18650 cells
Solo S100 (Solo 2), Solo 3, Solo 5 one cell, or a built-in battery depending on version
Mini M100 (Mini 2), Mini 5 built-in battery
Outside the Aegis range T200 two 18650 cells

The trade name alone is therefore not enough. A Geekvape box mod is identified by its line, then by its rank within that line, and the second point is the one retailer listings make least clear.

The Legend line, from the L200 to the Legend 5

The Legend line groups the dual 18650 mods. It still holds four entries, including the Legend 3, which the catalogue lists without a readable specification sheet.

L200, the Legend 2 under a code name

The L200 page calls it the Aegis Legend 2 in its text. It quotes 5 to 200 W, two external 18650 cells at 7.4 V and a 1.08-inch TFT colour screen. Geekvape also presents the move from an IP67 to an IP68 rating as one of this generation's upgrades.

Legend 5, the current generation

Its listing on the official store repeats the 5 to 200 W and two 18650 cells, not supplied, with a maximum current of 45 A and output voltage capped at 12 V. The AS Chip 4.0 runs the device, the screen stays at 1.08 inches and the rating at IP68.

Sold as a kit, it comes with the Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5 or the Z Sub-Ohm Tank 2021 depending on the option. Its two coils set the real working range, the Z0.15XM at 70 to 85 W and the Z0.4XM at 50 to 60 W, so the full 200 W is never used with the boxed hardware. We made the same point about the Aspire Zelos X80, held to 28 W by its own coils.

The Solo line, from a single 18650 to a choice of cell

The Solo line targets a single-cell format. Its three listed generations show a clear shift in power source, from a fixed 18650 to a choice between two cell sizes.

S100, the Solo 2

The S100 page calls it the Solo 2 throughout. It quotes up to 100 W on an external 18650 cell and an IP68 rating, and ships with a 0.2 ohm coil for 70 to 80 W plus a 0.25 ohm spare for 45 to 57 W.

Solo 3, two editions under one name

The Solo 3 exists with a built-in 3000 mAh battery or with an external 18650 cell. This is a frequent source of confusion, because listings do not always say which edition they mean. It adds a rear sensor that unlocks the mod when held, a Memory mode for five settings and an ECO mode, on the AS Chip 4.0 with an IP68 rating.

Solo 5, 18650 or 21700

The latest generation takes an 18650 or a 21700 cell, not supplied, thanks to an adapter in the box. It delivers 5 to 100 W with a maximum current of 30 A, on a 1.08-inch screen and an IP68 body. There are only two modes, Smart and Power, and charging runs over USB-C at 5 V and 2 A.

The Mini line, a built-in battery that changes course

The Mini line keeps the idea of a sealed battery with no cell to buy. Between its two listed generations capacity goes up, but two other figures go down.

The M100, which its page calls the Mini 2, carries a 2500 mAh battery, reaches up to 100 W and has a 1.08-inch screen, with an IP68 rating. The Mini 5 moves to 3200 mAh and USB-C charging at up to 5 V and 3 A, with Geekvape quoting 80 per cent charge in about 40 minutes. It delivers 5 to 100 W, but on a 0.96-inch TFT screen, and its listing gives IP67.

The water figure deserves a closer look. Under the IEC 60529 standard, a 7 means temporary immersion down to one metre, while an 8 covers prolonged immersion under conditions the manufacturer sets. On this point the newer generation is less protected than the older one. None of these mods is designed to be used under water.

T200, the odd one out in the catalogue

The T200, sometimes sold as the Aegis Touch, is the only mod filed outside the Aegis range on the manufacturer's page. It keeps two external 18650 cells and 200 W, adjustable in 1 W steps, but swaps the buttons for a 2.4-inch colour touchscreen.

It runs on the AS Chip 3.0, an earlier chipset generation than the one in the Legend 5 and Solo 3, and offers six modes (Power, TC-SS, TC-TCR, VPC, Smart and Bypass), with an IP68 rating.

Kit tanks and the UK 2 ml limit

Recent kits quote large capacities. The Z Nano 3 supplied with the Mini 5 holds 5 ml in its standard version, and the spare glass in the Legend 5 kit is listed at 5.5 ml.

In the UK, a refillable tank for nicotine e-liquid is limited to 2 ml, and Geekvape mentions a 2 ml TPD version of both tanks. Nicotine e-liquid itself is capped at 20 mg/ml in bottles of no more than 10 ml. We covered the same limit for the Geekvape Soul 2, a refillable pod from the same maker.

Telling the generation from a retailer listing

Three habits are enough to know which Geekvape box mod a listing is about. The first is translating the code names, L200 for the Legend 2, S100 for the Solo 2, M100 for the Mini 2. The second, for the Solo 3, is looking for a mention of the built-in battery or the 18650 cell.

The third concerns the figures that give a generation away. Among the listings we read, a 0.96-inch screen and an IP67 rating point to the Mini 5, a 21700 adapter to the Solo 5, and a touchscreen to the T200.

FAQ

The questions below deal with what separates one generation from another. The answers come from the manufacturer's pages.

Is the Mini 5 more water-resistant than the M100? No. The M100 is rated IP68, the Mini 5 IP67. Both are fully protected against dust, but the newer one is rated for temporary immersion only.

Are the S100 and the Solo 2 the same mod? Yes. The S100 page calls it the Solo 2 throughout, with an 18650 cell and up to 100 W.

Which mod in the catalogue takes a 21700 cell? Among the listings we read, only the Solo 5 says so, thanks to an 18650-to-21700 adapter supplied in the box.

Why is the Legend 5's 200 W not used with the kit? Because the supplied coils top out far lower, at 85 W for the Z0.15XM and 60 W for the Z0.4XM. The extra power only comes into play with another suitable atomiser.

Which tank version is sold in the UK? The 2 ml TPD version, which Geekvape mentions for the Z Nano 3 and for the Legend 5 kit glass. The 5 ml and 5.5 ml figures belong to the standard versions.

Geekvape box mod line-up, read generation by generation

Geekvape's catalogue places three Legend generations, three Solos and two Minis side by side, plus the T200. Newer does not always mean better on every count, as the Mini 5's IP67 rating against the M100's IP68 shows.

Before comparing two listings, it pays to identify the line, then the generation, then the edition of the supplied tank. A Geekvape box mod can then be read for what it is, a specific model from a range that keeps its older entries on display.
